Food Pantry/Northeast Ga. Food Bank Ministry
Bruce Thaxton chairs the Food Pantry ministry. Food boxes are prepared to give to those in need from the Northeast Georgia Food Bank. We will advertise in the local paper several times during the year to let the public know when the food pantry is open. Gordon’s Chapel Clothes Closet is a nonprofit ministry designed to provide free clothing and miscellaneous items to people in need. We are open to give away clothes several times a year, but emergency handouts can be scheduled on a case by case basis. For more information, please contact Paulette Cooper or Sue Goldsmith.
